Indebank Ltd’s project to install an in-house ATM Switch is now in its final phase. The new ATM Switch will enable the bank to better integrate its information technology infrastructure and improve its ATM service delivery, including offering new services such as utility bill payments and e-voucher purchases.
Going forward, Indebank’s ATMs will use Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) as opposed to Biometric (finger print) identification as is currently the case.
Migration to the new ATM switch will commence at 8.00 P.M. on Friday 3rd February 2012 and is expected to be concluded by Sunday 5th February.
Indebank therefore wishes to advise that;

From 8.00 P.M. on Friday 3rd February 2012, all Malswitch ATM cards (including those issued by Indebank) will cease to work on Indecash ATMs. Non Indebank customers will therefore not be able to transact at Indecash ATMs from then onwards.
Indebank customers are advised to collect their new Indecash ATM cards from their Branch/Agency from Monday 30th January 2012. The replacement cards for current ATM card holders will be issued free of charge.
Customers who applied for ATM cards but had not received the cards will also be issued with the new Indecash ATM cards starting from Monday 30th January.
